Your health and safety are our highest priority. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we will continue the following safety practices.
- We conduct patient, visitor, and staff screening to ensure that those who have been exposed, are already ill, or are at high risk do not enter our building. Please expect to have your temperature taken when you arrive.
- We follow strict cleaning policies and have increased the frequency with which we complete antibacterial cleaning in our waiting areas.
- We have rearranged our waiting room to allow plenty of space for you and your visitor to sit separately from other patients. Your visitor is also welcome to wait in the car during your procedure.
- Our staff utilizes appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.
Please help us keep you healthy and safe! If you or a family member have an appointment for surgery in the coming days, we ask that:
- If you have experienced coughing, sore throat, muscle pain, fever, or shortness of breath in the past two weeks, please call us and ask to speak with a preadmission nurse who will evaluate your symptoms over the phone to help determine whether or not you should have surgery.
- Please wear a mask, and ask your visitor/driver to wear a mask. We are requiring everyone in our building to wear a mask at all times. If you do not have a mask, we will provide you with one when you arrive.
- Please only bring one visitor (generally this will be your driver) to your appointment. We are trying to limit the number of people in our waiting rooms.
- If you are a visitor, family member or caregiver, please consider waiting in the car during your family member’s surgery, particularly if you are in any way high-risk or immunocompromised.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
